Custom handmade pottery created in Singapore with unique designs

About us

Dirt and Wonder is a pottery studio in the north-east of Singapore, offering affordable pottery classes for anyone curious about clay. The studio welcomes beginners and experienced makers alike, encouraging everyone to embrace the process, enjoy the challenge, and discover the joy of creating with clay. At Dirt and Wonder, the belief is that nothing is impossible in pottery. Success comes with practice, and every piece, simple or complex, is part of the learning journey.

Clay making is seen as a “juicy puzzle” that engages both mind and hands, and the studio’s founder enjoys sharing that sense of discovery with students. With over 11 years of experience in ceramics, Leonice Marsha (Leo) continues to learn and explore the limitless possibilities of clay, bringing that curiosity and enthusiasm into every class.

Leo founded Dirt and Wonder with encouragement from those who inspired her to start the studio. She is a Singaporean artist specializing in ceramics, holding a Bachelor (Hons) in Fine Art Practice from the University of Central Lancashire, and is licensed as an MOE AMIS and PA trainer. Through the studio, she strives to create a welcoming community where art and people connect, offering makers of all levels the opportunity to explore, learn, and express themselves in a safe and supportive environment.
