What language will the sessions be conducted in?
All sessions are conducted in English. -
Is there a dress code?
Clay work can get messy! Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Short nails and tied-back hair will help you have a better experience. -
Can I join if I have injuries or medical issues?
For minor injuries (cuts or open wounds), please notify us before the session. For other injuries or medical conditions, let us know beforehand so we can advise you and ensure your safety. -
Will the session start on time? What if I’m late?
We aim to start on time. Latecomers will be asked to join the session wherever it is and will be guided after demonstrations. No extra time will be added, so please inform us if you expect to be late. -
Is anything dangerous?
Sessions are generally safe, but you will be using a heat gun and a sharp needle tool. Please handle with care. Children under 10 years old (or anyone needing extra guidance) will not handle the heat gun, and the needle tool will be replaced with a safe alternative or removed once done. Your safety is our priority. -
Do you need to inform us about special needs?
If your partner or child requires extra attention, please let us know beforehand. We’re not certified to care for children or provide medical advice, but giving us a heads-up allows us to prepare and provide the best experience for all participants.

Each submitted vessel should be within 15cm x 15cm x 15cm. Smaller works tend to process faster as they fit into the kiln more easily. Additional costs apply for works exceeding these dimensions.

Extra vessels are $15 each (inclusive of glazes), and additional glaze colors are $5/glaze for each item.

Due to drying, bisque firing, glazing, and glaze firing, works typically take 6–8 weeks to be ready. During festival or peak seasons (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, June holidays, National Day, Halloween, November, December), please anticipate delays of 2–3 months. If you haven’t heard from us, please contact us.

The unpredictable nature of clay, glaze, and kiln firing may cause variations in the finished work, including glaze color changes, separations, bubbling, cracks, or chips. If an issue arises that requires attention, we will inform you.

The primary contact person listed on the glaze form will be contacted for all submitted works.

Once vessels are collected from the studio, they are no longer Dirt and Wonder’s responsibility. We encourage you to inspect your pieces upon collection.

Rescheduling and refunds are possible with advance notice. Requests made within 2 days of the session can only be accommodated for valid reasons, as last-minute changes make it difficult for us, a small business, to fill the slot. Your understanding helps us keep the studio running smoothly for everyone.

Starting July 2026, all rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled session will incur a rescheduling fee of $8 per person. As a small studio offering thoughtfully conducted classes at accessible prices, we work with limited slots and prepare materials and staffing in advance for every session. We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us maintain the quality and sustainability of our classes.
